Nigeria top blogger Linda Ikeji gave out over N5milliom to 15 girls

Earlier this year the Nigeria no1 blogger Linda Ikeji  kicked up a project "I'd rather be safemade" where she announced that she will be giving out a whooping sum of N10million to some girls who wants to start a business but doesn't have any one to help them.

linda Ikeji fulfilled her promise on sunday 23rd August by giving out over N5million naira to the first 15 beneficiary of her "I'd rather be safemade project"  here are some photos and what she said below 

I am so excited and I can't wait to help more young ladies start their own businesses. So earlier this year, I announced that I was going to set aside a N10million grant to help young ladies with dreams, ambition and great business ideas to start their own small scale businesses.  And finally, I've done it. I've spent over N5million on 15 girls...and I have another N5million to give away before the end of the year. You have a great business idea and need start up capital? I'm here to help! . She said

 According to Linda Ikeji 

 She met with over 800 ladies in January this year, Her panel looked at their proposals and asked about 50 of them to present their ideas to them . At the end of the day they shortlisted 15 girls who are the first beneficiaries of the 'Linda Ikeji I'd Rather Be Selfmade' project. Above are 11 out of the 15 beneficiaries.
